“Paradise at Casa Panorama in Costa Rica”
We had been touring around other areas of Costa Rica for about 6 days before we arrived in the Manuel Antonio area. This was our last stop before going home and we were staying here for a week at the Casa Panorama in Tulemar Gardens.
First of all, we were completely impressed by the service even before we started our trip to Costa Rica. We had emailed Diego, the property manager, numerous times with lots of questions. He also helped us with transportation in the other areas of the country before even arriving in Manuel Antonio.
….. Both Diego and Chris were so accommodating. Upon arriving at the villa, Diego gave us a tour of the beach, the pool, and then the beautiful villa. Diego and Chris were there to help us with whatever we needed. They suggested and booked restaurants, set up taxi service, booked tours, etc. They checked in with us each morning by either stopping by or calling us to see how they could help us that particular day….Chris is a fantastic chef and has worked with some of the most celebrated chefs in the world. We had him cook dinner for us 3 out of the 6 nights, and what a treat! It not only was delicious, but with 6 people, it was actually more economical than eating in the local restaurants. He cooked whatever we wanted.… He made appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts for every meal. Yum!
The villa itself was very clean and they provided maid service every day. We had 180 degree ocean views and from our balcony, we spent every night watching some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. We used all 3 floors, which comfortably slept the six of us. The rooms were bright and cheerful, windows everywhere with views of the ocean. The villa had air conditioning, a washer, dryer, a grill, TV's and Wi-Fi (to keep our teenagers happy!). They had a hot tub on the deck of the 2nd floor and we filled it with cold water. How refreshing after a hot day of touring! Tulemar Gardens is a gated community, so we felt very safe having our kids walk on their own to the pool and beach. Tulemar Gardens is located very close to excellent restaurants and not far from Manuel Antonio National Park.
Having a private beach was such a luxury. We had a ball kayaking and boogie boarding. The surf was more than ample for us. It wasn't crowded like the public beach. We saw plenty of monkeys and sloths. They had a place there for lunch and our kids were always ordering smoothies and food. The beach and pool were about a 5 minute walk from our villa. It was a bit steep walking down; better to use sneakers than flip flops. But the exercise came on the way up. It is a good workout for those who want it. But if not, they will provide a car to drive you back to your villa. They charge $1 per ride. You can get coupons at the office. We bought a bunch of them, but as the week went on, with all the good food we were eating, we decided to challenge ourselves to the hike back up to our villa. By the way, they will refund any leftover coupons.
Costa Rica had been on our list of places to visit and we were so fortunate to end our vacation at Casa Panorama in Tulemar Gardens. We left there relaxed, tanned and wanting more time. The beautiful villa with ocean views was the only way to go. But what really made our time there enjoyable and memorable was the complete pampering and attention that we received from Diego and Chris. Thanks guys. We are DEFINITELY coming back!!

“Tulemar Was Beautiful”
We had been in Costa Rica for 12 days leading up to our stay at Panorama South at Tulemar. This was the first place we stayed where we had a kitchen - which was great timing for us and the kids. Constant eating out is a bit rough for the little people.
We stayed in the one-bedroom unit in Panorama South and it was superb. Clean, fully stocked kitchen and the big deck/balcony had amazing views of the ocean. We slept in the bedroom and the kids slept on the pull-out sofa - very nice.
The beach here is just awesome. Totally private beach with full services (kayaks, boogie boards, towels, chairs, umbrellas) in addition to a good restaurant. The prices are a little high, but Diego and Christopher gave us a cooler to take down to the beach to pack our beers and snacks - so that was enjoyable.
At the beach we were able to get shuttle service back to our unit (it's a steep incline back and forth - totally walkable - but with kids they were exhausted and wanted to get the shuttle a few times).
The trails (north beach loop and south beach loop) are as good, if not better than what you'll get at the national park. We read in Fodor’s that was it almost impossible not to see monkeys in the park - well didn't see any monkeys in the park - but we saw a ton of monkeys (white faced, howler, squirrel) right on the property, mostly on the north beach trail. One of the highlights of the trip.
My wife and I like to get a good quick workout in in the mornings and we would do the beach loop trails and then loop around the property. Gets the heart racing as the property has steep inclines.
Service Was A++
Even prior to our arrival Diego was extremely helpful in all areas of our vacation. We worked with to get great suggestions on tours, times for dinners, etc. Upon our arrival we were greeted by both Diego and Christopher - the property managers/concierge. Let me tell you - both Diego and Christopher are just amazing. A few times we were at the beach and they just showed up and shuttled us back to our apartment. At one point both Grady and Josie had swimmer's ear and Christopher took me to the pharmacy and helped talk to the pharmacist about what antibiotic we needed. Things like that make a huge difference.
We would recommend Tulemar almost as much for the service as we would for the spectacular views, great setting and beautiful units.

“Paradise in Costa Rica”
We went to Costa Rica for the second time looking for a new experience……A cousin of ours recommended Tulemar in the Manuel Antonio area. We hired a van and drove to Tulemar where we had reserved the Panorama South Villa. It was perfect for us. Not only was it one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, but it accommodated my family perfectly. The 1st floor was like a mini apartment with kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The 2nd floor had 2 bedrooms, a hot tub and another deck with a magnificent view. The 3rd floor was the living area for all. A beautiful large kitchen and living area with a huge deck and a grill. We made jokes because there was no dishwasher, but since we had excellent maid service every day, it did not matter. We did the tour at Manuel Antonio Park, but honestly we felt Tulemar was just as beautiful. Our private beach with free access to snorkeling and kayaking was great. The drinks on the beach were wonderful, but watch out for those Costa Rican flies....They loved the fruit drinks. The club restaurant and pool was outstanding also. We spent time swimming and drinking at the pool. We saw sloths in the trees. A giant hila monster, and monkeys on the property……….I could go on and on. All I can say is that it was a special time for me and my family. We thank Diego for helping us find the bank, grocery store, and answering all our questions. Pura Vida is the correct saying for this place.

“Fun and relaxing family vacation”
I can't say enough about Tulemar. After we arrived and saw some of the other places we'd been considering, we knew we'd made the right choice. We stayed in a small but very comfortable suite on the first floor of Casa Panorama.
It was a beautiful 1 bedroom with a large veranda. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee while taking in the ocean view. Another great feature of Tulemar was their private beach. They've got kayaks, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards available free of charge to guests. Casa Panorama was perfect for our family of 3. Our teenage son slept on the sofa bed and we stayed in the spacious bedroom with a king size bed. Even the view from the bed was incredible.
But what made this a memorable vacation was the property manager Diego.
Everything that has been written about him is true. He was so helpful, meeting us at the front gate (even though we arrived 2 hours early) taking us grocery shopping and driving us around the grounds where we saw our first sloth and a troop of spider monkeys. During the next 10 days Diego proved to be invaluable. He recommended restaurants, tours and arranged to have a rental car delivered to our door. The guy knows everybody and everything about the Manuel Antonio area. He even helped us play matchmaker, arranging for our son to go on a horseback riding tour that included a girl his age.
Tulemar was even more beautiful than we expected. And we felt secure and safe letting our son go to the pool or beach on his own. We are definitely planning a second trip there.

“Anniversary Trip at Tulemar”
After a long trip to get to Costa Rica we arrived via Nature Air to Diego the property manager picking us up and taking us to this beautiful property it was nice to have someone there with a big smile and a great attitude to pick you up he grabbed our luggage then took us to the grocery store to stock up on some food for the house. Diego was a very sweet, down to earth, caring person, You feel as if you have known him forever and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. He makes you feel like Royalty I will never forget him for this and because of the mix of Diego and the property we will be going again next year. When we first walked into Casa Panorama all we could say was WOW this place was absolutely beautiful we had a beautiful one bedroom clean up to date room and a view to die for there were a few days where we just hung out there at the Casa having drinks and enjoying the view. The first day we were walking up to the Restaurant to go on a tour of the national park and there were monkeys at the restaurant trying to steal some bananas off someone’s plate that was fantastic since this is really what I wanted to see monkeys……We just really want to say Thank you so Much for making our anniversary a memorable one
and we will be back again next year.

“Awesome view and exceptional service”
Tulemar is beautiful. We stayed in the downstairs one bedroom at Panorama. The apartment was fantastic and had a wonderfully large patio. The beach is very peaceful and private. Diego (the property manager) was a superstar. He even took us grocery shopping when we got there and arranged all of our excursions. We could not have asked for anything more. I can't wait to come back...

I am writing to say a heartfelt thank you to you and your team. The house was beautiful and extremely well appointed. We have stayed in many properties in Costa Rica but this was superior. When we needed assistance it was prompt, friendly and professional. The area was ideal and we made the most of the location. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Sincerely,
Todd Rubin
Thanks so much for an amazing rental. We had an amazing stay in Manuel Antonio so I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for providing such a wonderful Costa Rican vacation rental home to us. We'll definitely be back! I can't wait to recommend your company to my friends...Costa Rica is our favorite weekend getaway spot from Los Angeles and now we have even more reasons to come back!
Thanks again,
Dolly Townsend
We spent one fabulous week in Panorama and the kids continually ask to go back. We are a family of four that enjoy traveling all over the World and suprisingly enough we found a little piece of paradise that we will most definitely return to. The views from all levels of the house are pristine, the private beach is exquisite, the private community has cache, avoiding the tourist laden monotony of similar exclusivity. Panroma provided us with the perfect combination of culture, adventure, beauty, and relaxation. An amazing family experience.

The house exceeded all of our expectations. After many trips to Costa Rica, we have found our home.
My children have not stopped talking about our visit and they have not stopped asking when we are going back! Many thanks to the staff for making our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be back real soon.
