"Amazing Tropical Oasis"

Our stay at Casa Panorama South was a highlight in our Costa Rican adventure! Gorgeous condo with a balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and access to a private beach- it was incredible. We drove to other beaches but each time choose to come back to "ours" with its warm water, beachside service, and privacy. Right outside our door we saw a sloth, iguana, and heard a group of monkeys! To top it off, Kimberly, the house manager, immediately made us feel comfortable, arranged tours, provided insider hints, and anything else we could possibly need. Casa Panorama South is on our top favorite lists. Absolutely stunning inside and out!

"Amazing Views and Service"

Our vacation in Costa Rica was unforgettable. Tulemar is just beautiful. We stayed in the lower suite which has one bedroom at Casa Panorama. The apartment was great and had a wonderful large patio. The beach is very peaceful and private. The staff is always willing to help and made us fully enjoy our stay. We could not have asked for anything more.  I can't wait to come back...

"Tulemar, Casa Panorma South!"

My wife, son, daughter and I stayed at Casa Panorama South for a week in January ...Just like the images shown on their site, Casa Panorama South was just perfect and we really liked the décor of the villa. Kimberly, our concierge, was the best, not to mention her sense of humor. She made us feel quite comfortable with the area and guided us with activities, shopping, and restaurants. As others mentioned, the view was breath taking. Yes, the monkeys visited, the beach was beautiful and clean, the days were sunny and temps in the 80’s. The mornings were filled with the sounds of wildlife, just loved the distant calls of the Howler monkeys. It also amazed me how thorough the maids cleaned daily as if new tenants would be coming in, the accommodation was spotless. My wife and I spent lots of time under the shade of the trees by the beach while the kids enjoyed the ocean, kayaking, and sunning. Food was great, not to mention the drinks, we always made it a point to walk up the hill to lose the calories we had gained! Often the van service would stop and ask if we wanted a ride, but we declined for the exercise. Great restaurants were just a short walk from the front entrance to Tulemar, so was grocery shopping and the bank ATMs which gave US dollars or colones. . . We all enjoyed the Canopy Zip lining experience which was equal if not better than our Zip lining experience in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Very interesting zipping through the lush jungle. My wife and daughter enjoyed horseback riding in the mountains with a knowledgeable guide with Finca Valmy horse tours. We walked Tulemar’s trails to the beach almost daily, really enjoyed the atmosphere and monkey activity, even the sloth hanging out. I love photography so had quite a few walking adventures within and outside Tulemar to find items of interest. One being the 3 mile hike to the town of Quepos which I really enjoyed. I elected to take a cab back for 8 dollars US. At the western edge of the town small fishing boats would return with their catches and clean the fish. Herds of pelicans, gulls and some type of vultures were congregating at the fish cleaning. Great place to capture the birds in flight at close range.
This vacation was one of those where we dreaded its end. It was one where we would come back again knowing you could just relax in all its beauty and/or take on the numerous activities available. Yes, we’ll be back again and will certainly recommend and remember Tulemar as a wonderful vacation.

"There Is No Doubt That We Will Be Back"

Well we are now back to reality and missing the beautiful weather and good times we had at Casa Panorama Tulemar Bungalows, Manuel Antonio. Don and I enjoyed exploring Costa Rica on our second week.  Each place we went we told them of the beautiful place we had stayed in Manuel Antonio called Tulemar.  We shared our pictures and your website with them. We wished that we had spent our second week at Tulemar as we had originally planned but, it was nice to see more of Costa Rica.

There is no doubt that we will be back and hopefully with a few of our friends. I emailed my daughters some of the pictures of Costa Rica and they commented on how beautiful it was and that they would also like to vacation here. Thanks again for all your help during our first visit to Costa Rica. It was fantastic!!!

"Holiday at Casa Panorama, Tulemar Resort, Costa Rica"

We have just returned to Canada from a wonderful two weeks in Costa Rica, we spent one week at the Casa Panorama and it was an amazing holiday. Every minute of every day was a hundred per cent perfect vacation. We were pampered by Kimberley, she totally looked after every detail of our stay at the Casa and was so friendly and helpful. Vanessa, the young lady who did the housekeeping in our Villa was absolutely wonderful, she kept the Casa spotless. The private beach was a treat, free kayaks, towels, chairs, umbrellas, also there is a beach restaurant with the best food and drinks.

The view from our balcony is the best that you can imagine, and the house itself is so quiet, what a relaxing and wonderful vacation, we will be returning in 2013.

"Paradise Amazing Views!!"

We stayed in Casa Panorama and it is located in paradise. The views from the house are amazing you can see about a hundred miles down the coast line and a river mouth entering into the ocean.  The top floor has high vaulted wood ceilings and the wood work all around the house is perfect. The staff came daily to clean and would check on use thru out the day if we needed anything.  Kim the concierge she had everything lined up for us. She made our stay really laid back and booked all of our adventures.  Thank y ou all for a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back! Pura Vida!

"Absolute Relaxation and Beauty In Costa Rica"

This vacation rental was perfect.  Casa Panorama is part of Tulemar which encompasses the Buena Vista Luxury Villas (hotel of individual hexagon shaped bungalows) and privately owned condos/homes.  The rainforest is your backyard and the hillside takes you to the private beach. By staying in Casa Panorama you get your own home with a full kitchen, hot tub, 2 balconies, barbeque but also the resort amenities: pools, shuttle service, beach service (kayaks, boogie boards, lounge chairs, towels, bar and restaurants).  We were in paradise in the warm water, drinking cocktails on the sand.  The trails to the beach were teeming with wildlife.  And the views from the  balconies: unforgettable sunsets every night.  This was an extremely comfortable place to stay.  Maid service every day, fresh fruit upon our arrival.  Great for a family of 5.  Mom and dad were in the master and 3 kids in the 2nd bedroom with 2 double beds. Kimberly was an excellent concierge and recommended great restaurants and escorted me to the market upon our arrival.  I will dream of returning to Casa Panorama, Pura Vida indeed.

"Heavenly Trip!"

Couldn't have been any better! This home is so incredible.
We loved the beautiful deck and views of the ocean. The sounds of the jungle were so soothing. It is a very roomy and comfortable home. We loved the grounds, and the walk to the beach is lovely. The private beach has its own little bar, and sports equipment to kayak, boogie board, etc. There are also nice hiking trails just off of the beach. The location is great, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Loved Kimberly our concierge! Costa Rica is an amazing country!

"Best Place in Quepos"

We stayed at Casa Panorama south in in late November-early December of 2011, and it was the highlight of our stay. My friend has lived in Quepos for 15 years and he gave us 3 hotel recommendations, but then said "but, the best place, with it own beach, is Tulemar" - so we booked it. The location is perfect, the shuttle is great, beach is great, they have everything there for you to use at no cost, and out hostess really helped us book tours at great prices. We stayed at Tabacon Hot Springs up in arenal (supposed to be one of the top 100 hotels in the world), and this place was 10x as nice. Will be back again.

"Great Vacation Retreat!"

Our family enjoys traveling all over the World and surprisingly enough we found a little piece of paradise that we will most definitely plan to return to. We spent a fabulous week in Casa Panorama South and it was just perfect, the views from all levels of the house are pristine, simply breathtaking! Tulemar's private beach is exquisite and ideal for relaxation. Kimberly and the rest of Casa Panorama's staff were just top-notch. It truly was a marvelous family experience.

"The private beach alone is worth it"

We stayed here on our honeymoon for 7 days in August in the top two floors of Casa Panorama South and it was second to none. The views was most amazing and the house was enormous, a little much for 2 people, but we were looking for a place with a hot tub and only the Panorama's had them. Although no monkey's were around our casa, we did do a nature hike around the property and were surrounded by squirrel monkey's and capuchin monkey's looking to be fed. The best part of the property is definitely the private beach which alone is worth staying here for, or you have to travel 10-15 min. everyday down to the public beach which isn't as nice. Sometimes the waves got pretty big on the private beach and it was very fun to borrow the body boards and kayaks to ride the waves. The property itself is very nice and well maintained and since we travelled during the green season, there was not many people around which was very nice since we had the pools to ourselves and there was no waiting in line for anything or having to make reservations. We even did the horseback tour which our concierge Kimberly set up for us and we were the only 2 people on the tour which was so nice. The weather was also good since it only rained at night and from around 8am-8pm the weather was sunny and warm, and not unbearably hot like the residents say it is during the high season. It rained about 4 out of the 7 day's in the night, but at night there is nothing to do so you just go back to the casa and relax in the jacuzzi. I would like to also mention that a big plus in the washer/dryer. It allowed me to back half of what I normally pack and it's not often that I come back from a vacation with clean clothes.

"Paradise"

Our family of 6 (3 couples) stayed here for 4 days and absolutely loved it.  The house was very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated.  We loved the stocked kitchen and the covered patio that overlooked the ocean.  I think we spent the most time there every night.  Even when it rained we thoroughly enjoyed the patio.  Watching the monkeys outside our house was surreal.  Also, we loved the private beach so much it is now a picture on our wall in the living room.  Kimberly, our house manager went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and we are very grateful.  We will absolutely be back.

"High Praises"

For those of you out there trying to decide if Manuel Antonio and the Tulemar Villas are for you, I would say go for it! This was an anniversary vacation for my husband and I and we could not have been happier with our decision.  I felt compelled to provide a review given the exceptional service we experienced during our stay, oh, and that great view from the balcony of Casa Panorama.  Our concierge Kimberly did an amazing job of making us feel like our comfort and happiness while in Manuel Antonio was her top priority.  Given this was our first time to Costa Rica and we were unfamiliar with the area this was very helpful in ensuring we enjoyed our stay and made the most of our trip.  Beyond the world class service we were thrilled with our villa and so impressed with the sweeping ocean views and lush tropical setting.  We had the opportunity to stay in both the lower and upper units of Casa Panorama and they were both equally amazing in their amenities and views.  Many of the restaurants in town boasted great sunset views however my husband and I both agreed the best sunset view was had right outside our balcony.  The infinity pools and beach on Tulemar property were nice too.  If natural beauty and adventure are what you seek, then this is the perfect vacation.  There are so many great activities/tours to try and you can sit back and relax at the beach while your concierge makes all your arrangements.  You can do as little or as much as you choose.  We were happy that Kimberly had such extensive knowledge of the area and was able to make wonderful recommendations for all our activities.  All in all this was a wonderful destination for both relaxing, adventure, and service! If any these things are on the top of you list then Manuel Antonio and Casa Panorama will not disappoint.

"Best Place to Stay in Manuel Antonio....Heaven On Earth"

Casa Panorama South at Tulemar luxury rentals was heaven on earth.  Our entire experience from the initial booking until our last minute there was stress free and better than expected.  The concierge was Kimberly Barron.....and let me tell you.....she MAKES the experience! The house is just about the best view you could ever imagine....a perfect view of the ocean with amazing sunsets every day.  We had monkeys visit us on the deck every day....they are just adorable.  The house itself is even better in person than it is in the pictures.  The bedrooms had such comfortable beds and linens...and the master bathroom was so spacious.  Every inch of the place was spotless.  The internet/wifi was very dependable...which was important to us.  There was every amenity you could want...from coffee maker to Weber grill! This is the perfect place to call home you explore all the adventures the area has to offer.  Trust me....treat  yourself to a stay at Casa Panorama South...you wont  regret it...and be sure to get recommendations from Kimberly for just about anything you want to do!!

"Highly Recommended"

If you are planning on spending any time at all in Manuel Antonio, you simply cannot go wrong with Casa Panorama South in Tulemar. Fabulous location, fabulous facilities, fabulous customer service, fabulous fabulous fabulous. And Kimberley is, without a doubt, the most amazing host EVER! Picked us up from the airport, took us on a tour of the town, made all of our arrangements with the best tours one could hope for, even took us to the market upon our arrival. It was as if we had known her for years! The next time I return to Manuel Antonio (and I most definitely will), Casa Panorama South, Tulemar all the way. Trust me, you cannot go wrong here.

"Honeymoon in Paradise!"

5 stars isn't enough to describe how remarkable this place is! My husband and I spent 7 days in Tulemar staying in the Casa Panorama Upper Suite, and it was honestly the best week of our lives.

The House:
-More beautiful than the pictures online, we couldn't believe it!
-Very clean. The maid service comes every day and cleans your entire house for you, provided fresh towels and linens.
-It felt like home. They had several DVDs to watch, so one night when it was raining we just stayed in on the couch, cooked dinner using the BBQ on the balcony, and relaxed watching movies.

The Staff:
-Tom, Kimberly's husband, was our go-to man the entire week and he was by far one of the nicest people I have ever met. We could call him day or night with questions and he was always more than willing to help. He booked all of our tours for us, told us all the best places to go, and even helped drive us places at times.
-David who works down at the bar on the beach was also wonderful. He knew us by name and would chat with us every day when we came down. He also always made sure to point out any and all wildlife for us so that we could have the best experience possible.
-Gabriel was our primary driver throughout Tulemar for the week and he was spectacular. We enjoyed his company and he was always kind and smiling.

The Scenery/Wildlife:
-Monkeys, monkeys, monkeys! We saw so many monkeys, including on our balcony one morning, which was incredible.
-Going in the end of the rainy season, many people warned us that we may be miserable, but we LOVED it! It would rain a little in the early morning, then stop, then start again in the late afternoon which was perfect because our tours would be done by the time the rain started. Our last two days there the sun even came out full force during the day. If you're going to stay in a rainforest why wouldn't you want to go when it's raining? So beautiful and romantic.
-We saw several different animals on our trip and were amazed at how comfortable they were being seen.

The Food:
-Tom directed us to many delicious food places including Kapi Kapi, Victoria's, La Cantina, Byblos, Ronnie's Place, etc. The ceviche and Mahi Mahi in Costa Rica are to die for!

Overall:
My husband has traveled, where as I have not. This was my first destination, so I assumed that perhaps I was just biased in saying that it was the most remarkable place in the world. However, my husband says the same! Everything from the views to the staff was absolutely breathtaking.
Costa Rica was amazing and we will 100% be coming back to Tulemar for years and years to come.

Casa Panorama is set in such a beautiful spot that it was hard to leave for adventure trips.  We had an awesome monkey show of 10 come to our balcony and swing to the neighbors home.  Kimberly was an excellent planner and arranged for us to have top guides while in Costa Rica.  We have tons of pictures to always remind us of the fabulous time we had in Manuel Antonio.

Activities:

  1. Horseback Riding with Valentin-the best parts were the beautiful waterfall and lunch at his house afterwards.  And...we could run the horses!
  2. Safari Mangrove Tour-Wonderful guide.  We saw a baby crocodile, tiger crabs, monkeys, termite nests, birds of all types, lizards, iguanas, and then a lovely lunch at La Forest resort where we had "local" food by the pool.
  3. Spa Uno-Great treatments with their own products, produced locally.  Berrine is highly recommended as a therapist.
  4. Manuel Antonio National Park-Juan is the best guide (make sure to ask Kimberly for him) because he is a "master guide" who studied at the University taking courses in flora & fauna, wildlife of the rainforest along with other classes.  We saw toucans, snakes, spiders, lots of monkeys, racoons, frogs, white nosed racoon family member, sloth, mushrooms, poisonous trees, butterflies and so many more animals!  This is a must!

Restaurants:

  1. Sancho's-The yummiest guacamole & homemade chips!  Fish tacos incredible!!
  2. Gaia Hotel-Excellent tapas and an amazing sunset!  Order the pina coladas.
  3. Ronny's Place-The banana flambe show was hilarious with the dancer and sirens going off!

Thank you for so much kind hospitality Kimberly!

"Casa Panorama-Amazing Vacation!"

My boyfriend and I traveled to Costa Rica for the first (and certainly not the last!) time this September. We booked our flights back in May, and began to research what area of Costa Rica we wanted to explore. After deciding on the Manuel Antonio region (perfect mix of beautiful beaches and jungle to explore), I began to ask friends and colleagues at my office for recommendations, as well as looking into the ever so helpful TripAdvisor reviews. We chose Tulemar Resorts and Bungalows for a number of reasons, but I had consistently heard positive remarks about the staff, the property, and its central location to all activities in Manuel Antonio. After booking our room in Casa Panorama South, I was emailed within 24 hours by our lovely, amazing and friendly house manager, Kimberly (Tulemar has options for multiple types of room accommodations, including small bungalows and apartment type housing for small parties, or houses ranging in size from sleeping 6 to 16!). Kimberly gave us a rundown of the property, the country, the weather the time of year we were scheduled to visit, and literally EVERYTHING you could possibly want or need to know about visiting. She made herself totally available to us from that point on, and even helped us setup transfers to and from the airport (warning: the drive from San Jose airport to Tulemar is about 2-3 hours by van, so although a 'scenic drive through the country' might sound lovely, think about the duration of your flights beforehand- it can add up to a whole lot of travel time! I recommend the drive one way, and flying from San Jose to Quepos airport for a total of 20 minutes the other way; Sansa offers cheap flights). As our trip approached, Kimberly made sure to keep us updated on the weather, as we were traveling in the 'rainy season,' and were a bit concerned that the trip could be a wash. After finally arriving in beautiful Costa Rica, and making our way to Tulemar, we were greeted by Kimberly and the Tulemar owners, then given a tour of the grounds (bring sneakers because there are lots of hills!), the beautiful beach, and shown to our amazing room, with panoramic views of the ocean. We had a full size kitchen, a living room, big bedroom with a super comfortable bed and black out curtains which were perfect for the one morning we decided to sleep past 7:30 am, and a balcony which we spent rainy afternoons on, reading books while overlooking the ocean. Everything from this point in was amazing- the staff in every aspect was amazing, the grounds were immaculate, and you felt safe everywhere you went. You could easily walk to the many restaurants nearby (favorites included Salsipuedes next door, Cafe Milagro, Kapi Kapi, Ronnie's Place for an amazing sunset dining experience and Rafaels Terrazas for awesome food and service), and there is a grocery store only 5 minutes away. Kimberly helped up book the various excursions we did, all of which were lead by experienced, entertaining, knowledgable guides who really made you fall in love with the country. I highly recommend white water rafting, ziplining, horseback riding through the mountains, and touring Manuel Antonio National Park. Make sure you leave some time to spend down at Tulemar's beach, and take advantage of the kayaks you can use for free. The bartenders and beach service staff are so friendly and will make sure you're having fun and are taken care of without being pushy or overbearing. For our last night, we had a chef come to our room to cook us a private dinner; although it was a little pricey, it was a great experience and the food was delicious. The only bad part about our trip was leaving- we plan to go back in the next year or so, and I can't say enough great things about Casa Panorama, Tulemar Resort, or our friend Kimberly. You'll be doing yourself a favor by booking your next visit to Costa Rica here.

Pura vida!

"The perfect romantic location"

My now fiance' and I stayed in Casa Panorama South (lower level) for 4 nights at the end of September and it was perfect. The views were breath taking. The monkeys were a constant entertainment. The beach was beautiful especially at sunset with a delicious drink made my Danielle! We will remember it forever because the second night we were there, my boyfriend proposed on the beach. When we got back to Casa Panorama, Kim had arranged for a private chef to greet us with a fabulous bottle of champagne and meal. She had also decorated the entire bedroom with flower pedals and candles. We sat and ate an incredible dinner on the balcony listening to the rain. She really went out of her way to make it the most amazing night of our lives.
We really hope to return one day. There is so much to do in the area and we barely scratched the surface. We white water rafted, toured Manuel Antonio, and did a mangrove tour. Tulemar itself is located between the park and Quepos so you can never run out of things to do and see. It's really the perfect place whether you are looking to relax and be a beach bum or be adventurous and experience some real thrills!
Thank you again to the entire staff. It was truly a vacation we will NEVER forget!

"The Best Place to stay in Costa Rica!!!"

...I just want to stop and tell you what a great job you did with our group and having everything perfect in the house. I really did feel like a king when I stayed at the Panorama. You took any worries out of our minds, and made it the most wonderful and perfect vacation we have ever had. Not only was the house everything we hoped for and more, but the service and warm fun greeting we received made it all blend perfectly. …Thank you for getting the special items we requested before our arrival, and for the many trips to the store and pharmacy you did for us. You really were our Costa Rica Life line!!! LOL…  For a great meal and atmosphere, for all the other guests, we recommend the bomber airplane restaurant. You can’t miss it! Take a right out of the Tulemar, then go maybe 2 -5 min. and look for a big airplane on the right. It has great food, great service, cold beer and great pina-coladas. …I will return to my Panorama palace again one day. Until then, take care and thanks a million for everything. I found a new friend in Costa Rica, and a second home. Thank you for that Kim!

"So much beauty in one place!"

We got to see a variety of wildlife and enjoyed taking lots and lots of pictures.  I enjoyed drinking afternoon coffee on the balcony contemplating the beauty of the view. The house is inviting and relaxing and the people in Tulemar were kind and helpful.  Having Kimberly provide us with her insights was like having a friend in town.  It made us feel welcome and cared for.  Thank you so much for a great vacation!

My new husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Tulemar! We had an extremely rough time over the last few weeks a heat wave, an earthquake, a hurricane (true), so with that said we were really in desperate need of some rest and relaxation. Tulemar did NOT disappoint. The views are spectacular and the staff is amazing. Kimberly was a perfect hostess during our visit. Our only regret is that we only stayed 3 days. However, we are already planning a trip back in the near future! We saw tons of monkeys at the beach bar;  it was so cute how they play on the tarp. We also took the sailing tour, which was very relaxing. Had dinner at the restaurant with the airplane (can't remember the name). Also, you must, must, must get the private chef! We had Roger and he was exceptional!

"Loved Casa Panorama South!!!"

Our family of four (children ages 8 & 10) loved our stay in the upper 2 levels of Casa Panorama South. The two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house was spacious, nicely furnished and very clean with beautiful views of the ocean and trees below. My husband and I enjoyed getting up early and sitting on our deck sipping coffee and listening to the birds and howler monkeys (very loud!). We loved the private beach with the kayaks and boggie boards. There were plenty of chairs and it was never crowded. We especially enjoyed our walks to and from the beach either on the nature trails or along the tree lined road where we always saw howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, white faced monkeys and sloths. What made our trip so relaxing was being in the competent care of the house manager, Kimberly. She picked us up from the airport, took us shopping, booked our guided tour to the park and two days of surfing lessons and check in with us every day to offer restaurant recommendations and helpful advice. We enjoyed getting to know her and sharing many stories and laughs. She even helped to rescue an injured white faced monkey who liked to visit our hot tub. We highly recommend Casa Panorama South to anyone visiting the Manuel Antonio area!

"Terrific Location - Excellent Service"

We stayed at Tulemar August 1-8,2011 in Casa Panorama South lower level and completely enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful with breathtaking views from the balcony. The grounds are lush and well-maintained and the location is conveniently located to all of the restaurants/bars in Manuel Antonio. When spending time at Tulemar's private beach you truly feel immersed in Costa Rica's natural beauty. But what really made our trip outstanding was the staff. Kimberly, our concierge, was available for all of our needs and offered excellent recommendations. Danielle and Luis at the beach bar were the warmest and friendliest people we have met - even giving me daily Spanish lessons. The Costa Rican people, in general, were extremely kind and hospitable. We are looking forward to returning with our children.

"Casa Panorama was AMAZING!!!"

So, I am finally getting to my review of our amazing stay back in early July. We had rented the entire house and had my parents stay on the bottom suite. It was a perfect set up for 3 generations vacationing together! The home was beautiful (looked just like the photos) and the view was even more amazing. We were greeted by Kimberly upon arrival to give us a tour of the house and property. She even had us stocked up with the most amazing local fruit. We spent the next week enjoying the beach, ziplining, and even surf lessons (all arranged by Kimberly too). The private beach was great. Perfect sized waves for boogie boarding for our 4 kids and the bar right on the sand made it even better. We saw monkeys nearly every day at the beach as well. To end our trip Kimberly arranged a chef (Joseu-I think) to cook dinner. It was fabulous! I can still taste the fig cake he made...so good! Thanks to all of the staff and especially to Kimberly for Grandma's late night key mystery and the ear infection rescue.

My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon! This place is more than we have ever imagined... beautiful scenery, friendly people and an amazing location. We loved all the restaurants and they were all within walking distance. We went on a tour of the park, which we enjoyed, but we actually enjoyed the tour of Villa Vanilla even more. Kimberly was amazing! She checked in with us every day, helped us with our torus, and always had great restaurant recommendations. I'm sure we didn't even use her to her fullest potential as house manager. We can't express how much we enjoyed our time here at Casa Panorama!

"Casa Panorama Photos are True-to-life; what you see is what you get!"

In one word, AMAZING! We enjoyed a relaxing, 3-day stay in the lower level of Casa Panorama. Kim was extremely helpful as we arranged our stay and offered to book excursions and recommend tours, etc. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the entryway of the gated community, escorted to the nicely appointed house, and given a tour of the Tulemar community and private beach. Kim left us a delicious basket of fresh fruit, which we enjoyed each morning with our breakfast on the patio. She was knowledgeable about the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area and her advice on finding credible tour guides, restaurants, and the best parking for Manuel Antonio National Park was spot on!

... We were delighted to see monkeys, sloths, crabs, frogs and an abundance of birds during our stay. We spent every evening enjoying a beautiful sunset over the Pacific from the balcony. We would without hesitation stay here again!

"Stellar house in amazing location!"

We stayed in Casa Panorama Upper for a short stay in May 2011. When we walked in we fell in love. Since it is someone's house that they rent out, it feels exactly that, your home away from home. We were greeted by our very gracious and friendly concierge, Kimberly, who was available for us 24/7. It was the perfect way to end our action packed trip, relaxing near the beach! We miss Costa Rica!

I really enjoyed my stay in this cozy, quiet, comfortable place! Such a nice little gem. The check-in staff were great, as was Kimberly who answered all my questions and made me feel so welcome here. I hope to return again soon!

"Unbelievable Experience!"

Me and three friends stayed at Casa Panorama in the Tulemar Villas during the first week of May. I cannot say enough great things about the villa itself, Kim and the incredible staff here. Our place was extremely clean, well equipped and had the most beautiful view of the ocean I've ever seen from two balconies. The private beach was out of a dream! I would stay there again in a heartbeat and will be back for sure!

I just wanted to write a quick email and say how wonderful everything was at out recent stay at Casa Panorama. My husband and I just left Casa Panorama last week after a 5 night stay for our honeymoon and I must say - we miss it already! Casa Panorama and Tulemar truly was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been and it made quite an impression on both my husband and I. Also, I just want to say how wonderful both Diego and Chris were to us! They were both so helpful and right there ready to assist our every need! We have already passed along the information to a few of our friends and can hopefully plan a trip for next year! Many, many thanks!

Paradise at Casa Panorama in Costa Rica

We had been touring around other areas of Costa Rica for about 6 days before we arrived in the Manuel Antonio area. This was our last stop before going home and we were staying here for a week at the Casa Panorama in Tulemar Gardens.

First of all, we were completely impressed by the service even before we started our trip to Costa Rica. We had emailed Diego, the property manager, numerous times with lots of questions. He also helped us with transportation in the other areas of the country before even arriving in Manuel Antonio.

….. Both Diego and Chris were so accommodating. Upon arriving at the villa, Diego gave us a tour of the beach, the pool, and then the beautiful villa. Diego and Chris were there to help us with whatever we needed. They suggested and booked restaurants, set up taxi service, booked tours, etc. They checked in with us each morning by either stopping by or calling us to see how they could help us that particular day….Chris is a fantastic chef and has worked with some of the most celebrated chefs in the world. We had him cook dinner for us 3 out of the 6 nights, and what a treat! It not only was delicious, but with 6 people, it was actually more economical than eating in the local restaurants. He cooked whatever we wanted.… He made appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts for every meal. Yum!

The villa itself was very clean and they provided maid service every day. We had 180 degree ocean views and from our balcony, we spent every night watching some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. We used all 3 floors, which comfortably slept the six of us. The rooms were bright and cheerful, windows everywhere with views of the ocean. The villa had air conditioning, a washer, dryer, a grill, TV's and Wi-Fi (to keep our teenagers happy!). They had a hot tub on the deck of the 2nd floor and we filled it with cold water. How refreshing after a hot day of touring! Tulemar Gardens is a gated community, so we felt very safe having our kids walk on their own to the pool and beach. Tulemar Gardens is located very close to excellent restaurants and not far from Manuel Antonio National Park.

Having a private beach was such a luxury. We had a ball kayaking and boogie boarding. The surf was more than ample for us. It wasn't crowded like the public beach. We saw plenty of monkeys and sloths. They had a place there for lunch and our kids were always ordering smoothies and food. The beach and pool were about a 5 minute walk from our villa. It was a bit steep walking down; better to use sneakers than flip flops. But the exercise came on the way up. It is a good workout for those who want it. But if not, they will provide a car to drive you back to your villa. They charge $1 per ride. You can get coupons at the office. We bought a bunch of them, but as the week went on, with all the good food we were eating, we decided to challenge ourselves to the hike back up to our villa. By the way, they will refund any leftover coupons.

Costa Rica had been on our list of places to visit and we were so fortunate to end our vacation at Casa Panorama in Tulemar Gardens. We left there relaxed, tanned and wanting more time. The beautiful villa with ocean views was the only way to go. But what really made our time there enjoyable and memorable was the complete pampering and attention that we received from Diego and Chris. Thanks guys. We are DEFINITELY coming back!!

Tulemar Was Beautiful

We had been in Costa Rica for 12 days leading up to our stay at Panorama South at Tulemar. This was the first place we stayed where we had a kitchen - which was great timing for us and the kids. Constant eating out is a bit rough for the little people.

We stayed in the one-bedroom unit in Panorama South and it was superb. Clean, fully stocked kitchen and the big deck/balcony had amazing views of the ocean. We slept in the bedroom and the kids slept on the pull-out sofa - very nice.

The beach here is just awesome. Totally private beach with full services (kayaks, boogie boards, towels, chairs, umbrellas) in addition to a good restaurant. The prices are a little high, but Diego and Christopher gave us a cooler to take down to the beach to pack our beers and snacks - so that was enjoyable.

At the beach we were able to get shuttle service back to our unit (it's a steep incline back and forth - totally walkable - but with kids they were exhausted and wanted to get the shuttle a few times).

The trails (north beach loop and south beach loop) are as good, if not better than what you'll get at the national park. We read in Fodor’s that was it almost impossible not to see monkeys in the park - well didn't see any monkeys in the park - but we saw a ton of monkeys (white faced, howler, squirrel) right on the property, mostly on the north beach trail. One of the highlights of the trip.

My wife and I like to get a good quick workout in in the mornings and we would do the beach loop trails and then loop around the property. Gets the heart racing as the property has steep inclines.

Service Was A++

Even prior to our arrival Diego was extremely helpful in all areas of our vacation. We worked with to get great suggestions on tours, times for dinners, etc. Upon our arrival we were greeted by both Diego and Christopher - the property managers/concierge. Let me tell you - both Diego and Christopher are just amazing. A few times we were at the beach and they just showed up and shuttled us back to our apartment. At one point both Grady and Josie had swimmer's ear and Christopher took me to the pharmacy and helped talk to the pharmacist about what antibiotic we needed. Things like that make a huge difference.

We would recommend Tulemar almost as much for the service as we would for the spectacular views, great setting and beautiful units.

Paradise in Costa Rica

We went to Costa Rica for the second time looking for a new experience……A cousin of ours recommended Tulemar in the Manuel Antonio area. We hired a van and drove to Tulemar where we had reserved the Panorama South Villa. It was perfect for us. Not only was it one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, but it accommodated my family perfectly. The 1st floor was like a mini apartment with kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The 2nd floor had 2 bedrooms, a hot tub and another deck with a magnificent view. The 3rd floor was the living area for all. A beautiful large kitchen and living area with a huge deck and a grill. We made jokes because there was no dishwasher, but since we had excellent maid service every day, it did not matter. We did the tour at Manuel Antonio Park, but honestly we felt Tulemar was just as beautiful. Our private beach with free access to snorkeling and kayaking was great. The drinks on the beach were wonderful, but watch out for those Costa Rican flies....They loved the fruit drinks. The club restaurant and pool was outstanding also. We spent time swimming and drinking at the pool. We saw sloths in the trees. A giant hila monster, and monkeys on the property……….I could go on and on. All I can say is that it was a special time for me and my family. We thank Diego for helping us find the bank, grocery store, and answering all our questions. Pura Vida is the correct saying for this place.

Fun and relaxing family vacation

I can't say enough about Tulemar. After we arrived and saw some of the other places we'd been considering, we knew we'd made the right choice. We stayed in a small but very comfortable suite on the first floor of Casa Panorama.

It was a beautiful 1 bedroom with a large veranda. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee while taking in the ocean view. Another great feature of Tulemar was their private beach. They've got kayaks, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards available free of charge to guests. Casa Panorama was perfect for our family of 3. Our teenage son slept on the sofa bed and we stayed in the spacious bedroom with a king size bed. Even the view from the bed was incredible.

But what made this a memorable vacation was the property manager Diego.

Everything that has been written about him is true. He was so helpful, meeting us at the front gate (even though we arrived 2 hours early) taking us grocery shopping and driving us around the grounds where we saw our first sloth and a troop of spider monkeys. During the next 10 days Diego proved to be invaluable. He recommended restaurants, tours and arranged to have a rental car delivered to our door. The guy knows everybody and everything about the Manuel Antonio area. He even helped us play matchmaker, arranging for our son to go on a horseback riding tour that included a girl his age.

Tulemar was even more beautiful than we expected. And we felt secure and safe letting our son go to the pool or beach on his own. We are definitely planning a second trip there.

Anniversary Trip at Tulemar

After a long trip to get to Costa Rica we arrived via Nature Air to Diego the property manager picking us up and taking us to this beautiful property it was nice to have someone there with a big smile and a great attitude to pick you up he grabbed our luggage then took us to the grocery store to stock up on some food for the house. Diego was a very sweet, down to earth, caring person, You feel as if you have known him forever and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. He makes you feel like Royalty I will never forget him for this and because of the mix of Diego and the property we will be going again next year. When we first walked into Casa Panorama all we could say was WOW this place was absolutely beautiful we had a beautiful one bedroom clean up to date room and a view to die for there were a few days where we just hung out there at the Casa having drinks and enjoying the view. The first day we were walking up to the Restaurant to go on a tour of the national park and there were monkeys at the restaurant trying to steal some bananas off someone’s plate that was fantastic since this is really what I wanted to see monkeys……We just really want to say Thank you so Much for making our anniversary a memorable one
and we will be back again next year.

Thanks,

Awesome view and exceptional service

Tulemar is beautiful. We stayed in the downstairs one bedroom at Panorama. The apartment was fantastic and had a wonderfully large patio. The beach is very peaceful and private. Diego (the property manager) was a superstar. He even took us grocery shopping when we got there and arranged all of our excursions. We could not have asked for anything more. I can't wait to come back...

I am writing to say a heartfelt thank you to you and your team. The house was beautiful and extremely well appointed. We have stayed in many properties in Costa Rica but this was superior. When we needed assistance it was prompt, friendly and professional. The area was ideal and we made the most of the location. Thank you for a wonderful time.

My children have not stopped talking about our visit and they have not stopped asking when we are going back! Many thanks to the staff for making our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be back real soon.
