MARITIME ZONE
Asociation de Vecinos y Amigos de Tulemar (Association of neighbors and friends of Tulemar) is an environmental organization created by Tulemar Gardens homeowners. It dedicated to protecting and preserving the natural environment in the Tulemar Gardens locale, with focus on the Tulemar Gardens Maritime zone. A substantial portion of Panorama Gardens proceeds have been donated to this organization. Future proceeds will be used to support the creation of a maritime park centered in front of the Tulemar Gardens beach. The park rules are to exclude the extraction of marine life in an effort to allow for the development and viewing larger and more abundant marine animals. Initial plans call for it to begin near the new Quepos harbor and extend to Quepos point, and for it to include the primary snorkeling and diving reefs in the area. If successful, it will provide a model for additional Costa Rican marine reserves. NOTE: PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ABOUT ANY FURTHER INFORMATION ON ANY OF THESE SERVICES. |
